The Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA) is looking for a new team member! The Member Engagement Manager is a key role in our organization. If you love to learn, listen, and talk to people, are interested in blockchain and digital assets, and are looking for a part-time role, then read on and apply!

Summary:

The EEA's Member Engagement Manager provides community support to members connecting with one another and fosters an active environment within which members can connect. The Member Engagement Manager is someone who can envision what a strong community looks like and take the steps necessary to make that vision a reality. This position requires an outgoing and personable approach with strong attention to detail and organization.

This is a 20 hours/week part-time contract role.


Duties & Responsibility:

The statements below are intended to describe the essential duties of the Member Engagement Manager. They are not intended as an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities.

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with member representatives, especially the Primary Contact from each organization.
  • Connects members to other members based on interests and expertise
  • Communicates about the EEA work efforts and solicits participation in various groups / EEA activities.
  • Manages, facilitates, and initiates conversation and activity in the online platforms utilized by the EEA Member community.
  • Coordinates with the communications team to spread the message of the EEA internally.
  • Supports the planning and hosting of EEA events - both in person and online - to represent Members' preferences, wants, and needs.
  • Works closely with EEA and Virtual Inc. staff on the administrative tasks associated with managing member support.
  • Provides insight, recommendation and highlighted opportunities for further member connection to the EEA staff.
  • Owns the facilitation and hosting of the EEA Member Council, and any other engagement bodies he/she/they may deem necessary.
  • Arranges online and in person gatherings or workshops as needed to support Members and help them collaborate.
  • Monitors Membership reports to improve engagement and retention.

  • Organization and attention to detail.
  • Creativity and innovation when it comes to building relationships and engaging people on an emotional level.
  • Self-discipline and a strong work ethic.
  • A willingness and ability to travel up to 4 times per year.
  • A strong desire to learn about the blockchain ecosystem and stay informed of this rapidly changing industry. Prior knowledge of the blockchain ecosystem is preferred.
  • An ability to speak as a representative on behalf of the EEA (preferred).
