SUMMARY:

The Account Coordinator Coordinator supports the Event Sales Team and clients through their strategic objectives and project implementation. This role will also make recommendations to continually improve processes to drive client success.

  • Serve as first point of contact for sponsor and exhibitor inquiries and requests.
  • Oversee the sponsor/exhibitor journey including processing new sponsors and exhibitors, handling renewals documenting and executing all sponsor benefit processes.
  • Maintain sales leads for the clients, along with researching new leads.
  • Maintain current sponsor/exhibitor information and prepare client dashboard and activity reports.
  • Interface with members and volunteer leaders via various communication channels (email, phone, collaboration sites, etc).
  • Support client team members and provide administrative support on projects and tasks.
  • Assist in producing collateral, presentations and other sponsorship event materials.
  • Coordinate and support conference calls and face-to-face meetings. Duties may include minute taking, scheduling, facilitating calls, etc.
  • Assist in the coordination of logistics for trade shows and events; shipping, collateral production, promotional items, etc.
  • Support client website services, database management and support tool implementation.
  • Fully utilize all organizational tools and platforms including collaboration sites, association management tools and project management systems. Ensure that data within each is kept current and up to date.
  • Help train, monitor and check work of administrator(s) and/or intern(s)
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned.

As our next Account Coordinator, you will bring:

  • 1-2 years of coordinator, sales or related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with multiple cultures across all time zones a plus
  • Computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite; Salesforce, CRM-type platforms, PMO-type tools such as Wrike.
  • Willingness and ability to travel, if required (5%, both international and domestic, valid passport required);
  • Must be able to show proof of vaccination and meet applicable travel and/or client requirements;
  • Detail-oriented, with strong, effective organizational, problem solving and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
  • Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work independently with limited supervision, as a team member and work well under pressure;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
  • Must be comfortable in a collaborative small-company environment and demonstrate a "rolled up sleeves" working style.
