SUMMARY:

The marketing communications team formulates strategies that best fit each client's immediate and future needs, develops, manages, and executes integrated digital and social campaigns, in-person and online events, websites, monthly reporting and much more. The Marketing Communications Coordinator will support the tactical execution of strategic marketing plans on behalf of our clients. This person will work closely with the client and its members as well as the Virtual marketing communications, public relations, events, IT, and client services staff. This position reports to the Marketing Manager while also working cross functionally with Marketing Communications Directors and other positions within the organization.

  • Support the full MarCom team in the development of short- and long-term customized strategic marketing communications plans (both on a micro and macro level).
  • Design graphics in Canva for social media and email marketing.
  • Work with graphic designers to traffic additional requests from client and client services team.
  • Draft email marketing content for clients; stage emails in Emma, Informz, and Constant Contact.
  • Work with team members to on list creation, maintenance, and segmentation for clients.
  • Report on email and social marketing results; must be able or willing to learn how to create qualitative and quantitative reports via Google Analytics, Social Media reports, etc.
  • Assist with overall marketing strategy for communications programs.
  • Provide onsite support and support with special projects as needed.
  • Do research to create or edit content for infographics, flyers, media profiles, websites, etc. for multiple clients with consistency and timely updates.

As our next Marketing Communications Coordinator, you will bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Communications/Journalism preferred; MBA is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in marketing agency or association experience preferred.
  • High level of creativity and "roll up your sleeves" working style.  
  • Thinking outside of the box and coming up with ways to streamline everyday workflows. 
  • Ability to operate in a remote environment (when required) and with teams located in other offices.
  • The skills to proactively anticipate what our clients require for the big picture solutions.
  • Experience reporting within email marketing platforms, social media platforms, and analytics platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with problem solving and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Must be able to work independently and as a strong team player.
  • Computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite, PMO tools, Marketing Automation tools, Google Analytics Reporting and Social Media tools.
  • WordPress experience preferred.
