SUMMARY:

As the Marketing Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving operational effectiveness and efficiency for marketing communications initiatives. This position works collaboratively across departments (events, PR, web, marketing, etc.) to create project plans, schedules, timelines, tracks tasks, identifies key milestones, develops status reports to ensure marketing projects run smoothly and remain on schedule and within budget. Working in partnership with strategic marketing leads, the Marketing Project Manager supports the development of marketing plans, budgets, and execution of project schedules. This position will provide overall project management support and also oversee content review for webinar communications, social media, newsletters, and collateral.

  • Create scalable process to track, manage, and update marketing projects while acting as lead for weekly touchpoints and developing milestone/reporting metrics to share with clients.
  • Develop processes for social media planning utilizing best practices to deliver innovative results by executing blog posts, content development, graphics, social media calendars, and Buzz Kits that utilize various digital marketing platform.
  • Handle regular updates to clients' online presence, including web content and social media content.
  • Oversee day-to-day marketing activities focused on the planning, managing, and executing of projects and timelines related to marketing campaigns.
  • Collect and submit Team Monthly Accomplishments for client reports.
  • Interface with clients regularly to provide status and updates.
  • Identify operational tasks for strategic marketing campaigns, delegate those tasks to the appropriate team members, and track all tasks in Wrike.
  • Work with teams to create and manage content calendars and project timelines to ensure content and projects get completed in a timely manner.
  • Execute marketing deliverables while prioritizing tasks and workflows in support of client marketing plans including identifying interdependencies, allocating resources, assigning responsibilities across functional teams, communicating expectations, and ensuring efficient and timely delivery of service excellence.
  • Identify ways to improve processes and operations for the organization to drive key projects to completion.
  • Assist with special projects as needed

As our next Marketing Project Manager, you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or Marketing.
  • 5-8 years of professional experience in marketing communications.
  • 2-3 years agency or association experience preferred.
  • Computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite, PMO tools, Marketing Automation tools, Google Analytics Reporting, Word Press and Social Media platforms.
  • High level of energy and creativity with a "roll up your sleeves" working style.
  • Thinking outside of the box and coming up with new ways to streamline everyday workflows. 
  • Ability to operate in a remote environment and with teams located in other offices.
  • Experience reporting within email marketing platforms, social media platforms, and analytics platforms. 
  • Ability to track and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast paced, deadline
  • driven environment.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and work independently as a strong team player.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong, effective organizational, problem solving and time-management skills.
