SUMMARY:

Virtual's unique culture and values are the heart and soul behind everything we do. The Human

Resources Specialist will work within Virtual's Employee Experience team to shape and safeguard Virtual's culture by supporting key programs through the employee life-cycle across multi-location team.  The Human Resources Specialist will also ensure the extension of Virtual Inc's values of team work, service excellence, innovation, respect, empowerment, trust, generosity and fun in our Nashville location.  

A DAY IN THE LIFE WILL INCLUDE: 

 Employee Engagement:

  • Builds strong partnerships with employees at all levels and fosters a positive environment embracing Virtual's core values
  • Administers the Employee Rewards and Recognition Program and assists with the development of new programs and initiatives that both safeguard, and advance our culture as a differentiator in the marketplace

Talent Acquisition Employee Onboarding:

  • Partners with hiring managers to identify current and future hiring needs and generates strong talent pools that support identified hiring needs, and long-range growth of the company
  • Directs on-campus and off-site recruitment programs including job fairs, trade shows, and media presence, including but not limited to networking opportunities, and internship candidates
  • Coordinates full-cycle recruiting including updating job requirements, assisting managers with initial assessments, scheduling interviews, and selection
  • Nurtures talent pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities ensuring responsive communications and a positive candidate experience
  • Coordinates new hire onboarding process with a view toward the employee experience to include offer letters, background checks, new hire setup, orientation, and training

HR Operations: 

  • Records employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, promotions and terminations and acts as the administrator of the HCM platform
  • Compiles HR metrics, analyzes trends and makes recommendations to management. Participates in various market surveys and manages data gathering, submission, and analysis
  • Updates handbook and policy manuals, job descriptions, organizational charts, and HR related collateral on an as-needed basis
  • May assist or lead HR special projects

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

  • 3 - 5 years of Human Resources experience; Recruiting experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required, bachelor's preferred
  • Computer proficiency, specifically with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Aptitude for exceptional candidate generation and client management
  • Expert communicator, including in-person as well as via email, phone, and skype
  • Strong service orientation with commitment to providing excellent employee experience.
  • Maintains high level of confidentiality
  • Works with integrity and ethically, upholding organizational values  
  • Detail-oriented, with strong, effective organizational, problem solving and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work independently with limited supervision, as a team member and work well under pressure
  • Must be comfortable in a collaborative small-company environment and demonstrate a "rolled up sleeves" working style
  • Strong computer skills, especially MS Office
  • Knowledge of office administration and HR procedures

 

We understand that there is more to a job than what it pays, HOWEVER, a competitive compensation package keeps our employees happy! In addition to our Fortune 100 level benefits, we can share that the target salary for this role is $45,000-$50,000 and is commensurate based on experience.
